Race to Save Lives - November 8, 2014
The idea for a community event to raise awareness about suicide was started by the Krueger family to honor the life of Elaine Krueger. The original Stayin' Afloat
event in downtown South Bend became what is now Race to Save Lives
held at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center (SJRMC) in Mishawaka, Indiana.
SJRMC is a wonderful venue conveniently located near the intersection of Main Street & Douglas Road. There's plenty of parking and a warm and delicous cafe for pre-Race snacks, hot chocolate or coffee located close to the start/finish area. This area of Mishawaka is well known for a variety of shopping, eateries, and easy access to neighboring South Bend and Granger.
