United Health Services' Celebrates 50 Years

United Health Services celebrated 50 years of improving the quality of life to the North Central Indiana community with a spectacular evening celebration.  On March 3, 2016 friends gathered, filling the beautiful The Exchange Whiskey Bar and Vault to commemorate UHS's history of activism and cooperation that has solidified a unique union of six programs that touch nearly every sector of the community.
The celebratory event consisted of cocktails (including 1960’s era crowd favorites Sazerac, Manhattans and Old Fashioneds), live jazz music, wonderful food stations and silent auction.  WNDU’s anchor Terry McFadden welcomed guests and introduced UHS Executive Director Mary Heck.  Heck spoke in front of the crowd and highlighted how the programs work together to minimize, avoid duplication and develop programs with the most beneficial utilization of resources (financial and human) to ensure efficient, economical and effective results.
“Our 50th Anniversary was an incredible evening celebrating all the work that United Health Services does for the community,” said Heck.  “The night was a wonderful gathering of board members, former board members, sponsors, community friends and partners who all took time and gathered at The Exchange to honor UHS and what a strong entity it has been to our community for five decades. This night also was the perfect kick off to our future as we grow even stronger in bringing a high quality of life to the people of North Central Indiana.”

Executive Director Mary Heack addressess the crowd and thanks them for their generous support.

It was a full house to celebrate a great cause!
