Thank you to everyone who participated in the "Meter Swap Day" sponsored by the Diabetes Association of St. Joseph County, along with the Diabetes Education Center and Bayer HealthCare, Diabetes Care of Mishawaka on November 14th at the Diabetes Education Center. This event allowed anyone in the community to exchange ANY blood glucose meter for a brand new one - FREE! In addition, the Diabetes Education Center offered free diabetes risk assessments during the event.
