Hearing & Speech Center
our mission
Improving communication for life.
our history
The Hearing and Speech Center had its beginnings in 1943 as the Hard of Hearing Club which reorganized itself into the South Bend Hearing Society two years later. The Club at first emphasized providing free hearing screenings throughout the community, but had become a full service hearing and speech clinic by the time it incorporated as the Hearing and Speech Center in 1947.
hearing services
Hearing Tests determine the type and degree of hearing loss.
Hearing Aid Evaluations determine the appropriate aid for the specific loss. Our audiologist will help you choose the hearing aid that is most appropriate for your needs and lifestyle.
Hearing Aid Sales and Service We carry a wide selection of high quality behind-the-ear, in-the-ear, and in-the-canal hearing aids. We offer conventional, programmable and digital hearing aids, in addition to repair services on all makes and models. All hearing aids include a 30 day trial period.
