Sign Language Interpreting

All CSAD interpreters are highly trained and hold state certifications and varying levels of national certifications. CSAD will need the following information in order to accommodate requests for interpreters.

  1. Appointment date and time
  2. Expected duration
  3. Physical address of the appointment
  4. Your name and phone number and/or email address
  5. The name of the deaf or hard-of-hearing individual(s) involved
  6. Nature of the appointment

Interpreters may be requested online or by email, phone or fax. CSAD is able to accommodate requests with little notice, but we recommend a one week advance notice.

CONFIDENTIALITY: All CSAD interpreters abide by the Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf Code of Professional Conduct which includes complete confidentiality of ALL matters disclosed during an interpreting appointment.
